These innovative, contemporary-designed doors combine reliable, hygienic, touch-free access with fire protection in case of an emergency, and even transform into a swing door to provide a safe escape / rescue route when installing Doorson Type 500EFS.
In normal operating circumstances, Doorson 500-type doors function as standard automatic sliding doors, providing reliable access with the movement of people.
In the event of an emergency, fire alarm or power failure, the mechanical spring system in the Doorson 500F closes the door and keeps it closed, creating a robust EI30 or EI60 fire barrier that prevents flames and heat from spreading to the safe side.
In addition to acting as a fire barrier, the Doorson 500EFS model transforms from a sliding door to a swing door, providing an easy evacuation and rescue route through the door leaves, self-closing behind users.
This model features a smart breakout function. In the escape direction, the swing opening provides a safe route for people out of the danger zone by simply pushing the door. On the opposite side of the door, in the rescue direction, the door opens by pulling the door with a handle.
The Doorson 500 series is available, fully tested and approved, with either an EI30 or EI60 rating (Insulation & Integrity) and the steel profile can be supplied in any RAL colour to suit the application.
