EazyDeck Aluminium Decking is part of the Class A fire-rated range from BM Architectural. It is perfect for use on balconies and terraces to improve the safety and styling of high-rise living.
In compliance with the latest UK fire safety regulations, which ban the use of combustible materials in or on external walls of mid-rise and high-rise residential buildings, the EazyDeck range has a fire rating of either Class A2-s1,d0 or A2fl-s1 to BS EN 13501-1. It is suitable for new-build construction and remediation schemes to replace non-compliant timber or composite decks.
In addition to being fire-rated, EazyDeck is stylish, hard-wearing, maintenance-free and anti-slip. Manufactured from 2.2mm thick, 6063 T6 Aluminium, the EazyDeck range consists of three board types. Each type is available in three standard colours (Sand/RAL 1019, Anthracite Grey/RAL 7016 and Black/RAL 9005), with other colours available on request.
Boards are powder-coated to 120 microns for additional outdoor protection and an improved, friction-tested textured surface for high slip resistance in both wet and dry conditions.
If required, fire-rated A2 substructures, comprising of steel support pedestals and aluminium joists, enable the quick, safe and accurate installation of suspended decking installations.
Measuring 220mm wide by 20mm deep, this is our widest board profile yet, and is available in two standard lengths, 3.6m and 6m, with project-specific lengths available on request. The XL system is quick-to-install, and achieves spans of up to 1100mm between fixing points. Requiring less individual boards to be fixed than smaller profiles provides savings on both time and number of fixings, as well as on the substructure and balcony steelwork due to the wide fixing centres.
Drainage is controlled through optional channels fitted between the boards.
With a board profile measuring 150mm wide by 25mm deep, the A2 EazyDeck Dual Board is available in two length, 3.6m and 6m. It features an innovative reversible channel that can either be installed flush as a cover plate or used as an integrated raised deck drainage solution.
These boards achieve spans of up to 800mm between fixing points.
The Dual Board system has an option to include Maximum Flow, an additional inter-board drainage and guttering system.
Our most slender, lightweight profile. Measuring 145mm x 17mm, these boards are available in lengths of 3.6m only and, unlike our other boards, are fixed using clips. The system achieves spans of up to 600mm between fixing points.
