BM Architectural stocks and distributes Secco steel glazing systems, including the Secco EBE – a fully-tested system with accessories, seals and thermal break profiles.
EBE systems are available in galvanised steel in a wide range of colours and surface finishes, e.g. ‘Architectural Bronze’ burnished brass, AISI 304 brushed stainless steel, AISI 316L polished or Scotch-Brite stainless steel and Corten steel.
They accommodate single or double glazing up to 66mm thick, with a double-seal system ensuring superior performance. Made from fire-resistant resins, the thermal break enhances insulation.
Stainless steel offers ten times the thermal performance of aluminium and superior corrosion resistance, while Corten steel provides six to eight times the corrosion resistance of traditional steels, featuring a uniform self-protecting patina for enhanced durability and an architecturally-appealing aesthetic.
A unique range of glazing beads is available in various sizes to suit the glazing thickness required and ensures that the desired performance is achieved without visible screws.
The EBE AF is available in 65, 75 and 85mm deep options, and is a high-performing fire-rated system designed for doors and glazed partitions. Tested to EN 1634-1, it offers EI 30-60-90 fire resistance.
The system allows designers to integrate fire-resistant doors in a coherent manner with partition walls and other elements, subdividing areas to protect people from the danger of smoke and flames in the event of a fire.
