This Juliet system is typically installed in front of French windows on an upper floor level, leading from either a bedroom or living room and yet also suitable for light commercial developments. Available for single and double door applications, this simple, elegant safety barrier allows doors to fully open inwards, transforming the location from a window to a balcony with ease.
A sleek, minimalist design, the only visual fittings are thin channels either side; these profiles fix to a suitable substrate either from the building facade or within a reveal. The system allows the creation of glass balconies up to 2400-3000mm wide, depending on glass used, and 1100mm high.
While other systems may rely on clamps, EazyJuliet includes a unique aluminium support block located within each fixing channel to provide secure and reliable glass retention.
Load-tested to 0.74kN/m and suitable for glass 1100mm high, EazyJuliet is compliant with domestic and light commercial edge protection regulations, including those in high rise applications requiring a Class A fire-rated system.
In addition to being elegant, it is the ideal safety barrier for applications with pets and children, featuring a solid glass pane which prevents items passing through unlike railed systems.
The lightweight Aluminium channels are anodized to 25 microns, ensuring a high resistance to corrosion, and are available in either a silver satin anodized finish or brushed black.
Available in two kit types, a glass thickness of either 13.5mm or 17.5-21.5mm can be accommodated, with all glass fittings delivered in a single box for ease of storage, handling and transportation.
EazyJuliet system has been designed to be fast and easy to install. Aluminium offers a significant strength to weight ratio, making the profiles easy to lift and fix in place. The channels are identical and are simply flipped to suit either side of the application. Both left and right profiles should be securely fixed, and the support blocks located, before offering up and securing the glass which is a two-person process.
