Leicester Tigers Rugby Stadium, Pedestrian Footbridge

BM Architectural supplied the frameless glass balustrade installed on a raised pedestrian access route, linking the Leicester Tigers rugby stadium with an adjacent structure.

Classified as a heavy-duty application due to the footbridge experiencing very high footfall on match days and having the potential for overcrowding, a 3kN balustrade system was specified.

A stainless steel channel holds the glass panels firmly in place along their base and is fixed directly to the structure.
